Frequently asked questions
How do I set it up?
- Open the app and click Sign in with Google.
- Choose your Google account. Google shows a screen asking you to let the app view your calendars. Click Allow.
- Add the widget from Edit Widgets in Notification Center or on the desktop.
That's it. There's nothing to configure in Google Cloud.
I'm asked to sign in again
This happens if access was removed on Google's side, for example after you revoked it at myaccount.google.com/permissions or changed your Google password. Sign in again in the app and click Allow.
The widget shows old or no events
- Open the app to confirm that you're signed in.
- Widgets refresh on a schedule that macOS controls, so changes in Google Calendar can take a few minutes to appear.
- Remove the widget and add it again.
The widget doesn't appear in the widget gallery
Open the app once, then check Edit Widgets again. If it's still missing, log out and back in, or restart your Mac.
Which calendars are shown?
Calendars you've selected in the app. The widget uses the colors you've set in Google Calendar.
Can the app change my events?
No. It asks for read-only access.
How do I sign out or remove access?
Choose Sign out in the app. To also revoke access on Google's side, go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
